Filter doesnt seem to work at all. Fridge is 1 week old. I have flushed over 10 gallons of water 3 different flushing and emptied ice trays 2 times. Still the ice cubes and water are horrible tasting. Every other faucet in our house and our old fridge is/was great tasting. Would love an explanation.

The water filter is easy to install

The air filter and water filter work fine. The problem was the air filter had a white case around it and wouldnt fit in the case the old filter came out of. After getting through the maze of who to call on the LG website I finally talked to someone and was told it was the correct filter. I again explained it was 1/4 to 3/8 too large. The solution was Just take the cover off. I said Id try that but if it didnt work would I receive a refund as I was told that was the solution. I was assured a note was made to allow a refund if it didnt work. It did fit without the case. My frustration is have to jump through hoops to be told to change the product that was supposed to fit.

The water filter is great. The air filter did not fit my refrigerator. I had to cut open the plastic frame and remove the innards those fit in the slot. I had an impossible time getting LG site to identify what my refrigerator needed. Ive never dealt with a maker not being able to ID my model and what it needs You have QR codes in the refrigerator why do you not have the capabilities to scan that and have the appropriate items pop up?

I purchased these items IN STOCK online on Monday 7-15-24 and paid for expedited shipping to get these items on Wednesday 7-17-24. On Wednesday I did not receive my package. I called on Monday 7-22-24 and still had not received my package. LG stated it was shipped on Friday 7-19-24 but did not show as shipped in tracking information. LG stated I should receive the items in a few days. I called LG on Friday 7-26-24 to cancel my order and receive a refund. I still had not received my items after 2 weeks WITH EXPEDITED SHIPPING. I am still waiting for a refund for these items plus the expedited expense I paid. I cancelled due to locating a store locally that had the items in stock and items were replaced in one day. Wrong Filters for the Frig

the air filter is not the correct filter for my frig. I was told that LG was aware of this issue but it has not been resolved. My filter has a rectangular casing and a slanted filter. This filter is a square and clearly does not fit my filter case. How can LG now this and not have resolved this issue. I may have to return the refrigerator since I cannot get the proper filters. Even sent an email to the VP no response yet. And I dont even have enough room to write about the customer service in the returns department. Wanted me to pay for return shipping when its LGs fault I have the incorrect filter. I then had to take pictures and provide proof that it was their website that suggested the filters. Total communication breakdown at this organization. then when I finally got the shipping approved they could not send the shipping label in the proper format. Took a week and still could not get it resolved.

Look at air filter housing before buying

Air filter does not fit the model LRFLC2706 refrigerator. The design of the air filter housing does not allow for square plastic charcoal holder as it is NOT SQUARE. Technical support was not helpful and gave me a part number and referred me back to LG site.

Craft ice has now become necessary

Had it for 6 months and just replaced the filters. The filters are kind of pricy to do every 6 months. Do they actually sense when they need to be replaced or does the timer just go off at the 6 mo mark? Love the fridge. Best Ive ever owned. My wife keeps texting me I left the door open so that feature is nice. I thought the craft ice was unnecessary but I was so wrong. That feature has become my most used The deli drawer is seriously deep enough to fit multiple 913 Pyrex baking dishes. Most of my thxgivn leftovers fit in there leaving the whole rest of the fridge free to use Amazing. Best fridge. No regrets.

The one in the door takes minimal space while there is a small space sacrifice for the craft ice maker in the lower freezer but worth it. Really like the round cube ice. I automatically receive the refrigerator water filter every 6 months which makes it easy for me to up with clean water. Not a bad price and once I change the filter you notice the ice and water is fresher.

Horrible experience will not purchase again the stove grates do not clean well and the digital display is wonky I also purchased the microwave and that is the same display issue I have appliance for only 2 years and not working properly I called lg support and was told sorry warrant over would you like to purchase one?

Easy and intuitive

It is refreshing to own appliances that are simple to maintain. To change the filters I did not have to lay on the floor or empty out half my fridge. My elderly parents are getting the same model because they love the accessibility of the interior as well as the filter swap locations. Nice job LG engineering

Poor product and service

Filter replacement design is reall poor. While replacing the filter the filter mount head broke. Could not find the replacment part for the filter head even after wasting several hours calling LG support. Not happy with the service.

Good water filter/Poor subscription service

The LG water filter is a good product. Unfortunately the subscription service is lacking. In my opinion a subscription should come automatically with little follow up. Changing the water and air filter is required every six months and should be delivered to my home. This has not occurred without one or more phone calls. The customer service representatives get things corrected and are great but I know I will have to go through this process again in six months.

Almost Perfect

Received at least 2 letters reminding that 6 months had gone by and that it was time for a new water filter and air filter for our new LG French Door Refrigerator. The discount coupons do not work if you buy filters from the LG website and the website is slightly cheaper - LG bundles the 2 filters together. The ease to install the new water filter is great. Just remember to lock turn off the water/ice dispenser in case you accidentally push on it. The reset is so simple- just hold the control panel button for 3 seconds till it chimes. Where it is almost perfect is the plastic cover for the air filter takes a very strong twist to remove. It almost feels as if it is going to break the plastic tabs holding it. After putting in the new air filter the cover has to be almost perfectly flat parallel to the inside back wall of the fridge to twist it back on. Otherwise it wont correctly engage the all the plastic tabs holding it. Again reset is simple- hold the button till it chimes. You can feel the difference with a new filter on how the cold air flow is controlled.

LG replacement parts are the only ones o use. Never have to worry that they dont fit or dont work right. It is also great to have them on a bi annual subscription so that I dont have to remember to get them or have to go to a store and hope they are in stock.
