A bit loud, but this guy works like a horse and keeps the downstairs cool on its own. Lighter and easier to put in than most 10,000 BTU.

We received 2 air conditioners. The 12,000 BTU one is dented on the top. A very visible dent! This happened at the factory, as there was no damage to the styrofoam packing in the box. There is a very, very slight thing on the box, but not enough at all to make a dent like on the air conditioner. We are going to out it in the window and try it out. If it doesn't work, i do hope we will get a free replacement!

Not even a year and unit simply blows hot air. I tried calling in to get it fixed on warranty, and I need to have original receipt. Almost a year later and I should have the original receipt? What Frigidaire should tell the foreigners they have answering their customer service calls that they really don't want to honor the warranties, they just want your info yo they can try to sell you an extended warranty.

The unit cools does most of my second floor. At night it's quiet so you ca sleep. The vent feacher is nice it allows you to draw in fresh air from outside.

We bough this 10000 btu air conditioner a few days ago and installed it yesterday. We have a 5000btu air conditioner in our bedroom for about 2 years with no problems so it only made sense to purchase a second unit for our dining room which is about 450sq ft. It's doing a great job cooling our home.

I've always been using fridgidaire brand air conditioners and it has never disappoint. After moving, I decided to stick to this brand, however, was worried if the 10,000 BTU would be good enough to cool my now larger apartment. It was great and performed well! I keep my bedroom door open and it was cooling everywhere well; from living room to the kitchen. I cannot recommend frigidaire brand enough, this air conditioner is easy to use and very convenient with the remote.

I like the air conditioner but there is a problem with the cord, if you shut it off it won't come back on unless you hit re-set and test, even that did not work yesterday. Now I am using a extension cord

My new A/C unit cools my home very well & I™™m really happy with it. It has an auto function which allows it to turn off so it™™s not running all the time. It also has eco function which is great as well. The remote tells you room temp while it can control temp on the unit itself. I™™m very please with the unit.

My wife and I a very pleased with this a/c. The installation was simple. Various foam insulations, with instructions on where to place them. Super quiet when running on high. Multiple directions for air flow. The room cooled off in minutes.

I've had my unit for over 18 months. I just love it. It does the job during the time of year when I need it. Frigidaire also has a very good warranty policy. I had issues with another unit in my home and the replaced it with a brand new unit in a timely manner. GREAT PRODUCT AND GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!

This Unit is a Monster. Cools Dining Room and Living Room for a combined area of 450 sq. ft., with 8ft ceilings very well. We have another unit working approximately the same area on the other side of the house in the Master Bedroom and Kitchen when we leave the Master Bedroom door open. Easy to clean. I also bought 6 Quartz Heaters for the winter seasons for a combined cost of $2,400. I all brought these units as alternative to a "Green" AC Unit with Heat Pump quoted at $41,000 Installed (Get The Heck Outta Here). Instead of that type of money, I can quite easily install and remove these units seasonally. I have other Frigidaire - 10,000 BTU Units that I brought in the past. After cleaning, they are still in service.

I purchased the unit at the end of the summer so haven't used it much. So far it performs at the high caliber that I've come to expect from Frigidaire window a/c units. The 5,000 BTU unit that this is replacing did an amazing job of cooling/drying the air given its smaller capacity and very large space (rooms open into one another/no doors) but this unit will be more efficient. It's a bit loud at the higher fan speeds, but I've never had an affordable window a/c unit that isn't.

This air conditioner does a great job cooling my 400 square feet apartment. It reaches all the rooms and I am very happy with it. The only thing is I do feel like it™™s a bit loud. Not terrible, but even on the low setting it makes quite a bit of noise. Just something to be aware of!

This AC was easy to install (little heavy) but was able to manage by myself definitely cools my living room and kitchen. I wish the vent angles were a little more pivotal. Overall, does the job and not terribly loud.

I am greatly happy with this unit. It is able to cool off my whole apartment with the assistant of a box fan. I previously owned a fridgeaire. It lasted 12 yrs. Hopefully this one will give me alot of years also. I did recommend this one to my mothers and she also purchased one. Only hers was a 8000 btu. I will differently spread the recommendation to others.
